“The programme will be implemented in partnership with the Director-General of Resettlement and the Army Welfare Placement Organisation,” Amazon India said in a statement here on Monday. Amazon Asia operations Vice President Akhil Saxena said the company would scale and extend the programme to hire talent from the Air Force, Navy and police families in the future.

NDC Commandant Honoured by USI of India

It may be noted that Lieutenant General Sheikh Mamun Khaled is the first Bangladeshi as well as foreign recipient of this honour from USI of India, said an Inter Service Public Relation press release on Sunday. Director of USI Lieutenant General PK Singh (retired) has formally handed over the fellowship certificate to Lieutenant General Sheikh Mamun Khaled on August 19.
