India and China are discussing an agreement on mutual recognition of degrees and exchange of faculty, an official statement said on Wednesday as education officials from the two countries met for the first time under a new bilateral mechanism.
“As a result calibrated escalation of area weapons was undertaken by the Indian side in which terrorist launch pads and several Pakistan Army posts giving incidental protection to these launch pads and certain gun positions were hit,” the official said.
“In the first year, we were supposed to supply 36,000 jackets but we are ahead of time and we have supplied 40,000 jackets to Indian Army,” he said talking to ANI here on Friday.
“We have to complete this order by 2021, but we are hopeful to complete it by the end of 2020,” he said.
peaking on the occasion, the President said that the potential for the Philippines-India economic collaboration is significant. Both countries share mutual complementarities which can be utilised to deepen trade and investment ties. He said that India’s “Make in India” and next-generation infrastructure programmes and the Philippines’ “Build, Build, Build” infrastructure initiative present immense opportunities for companies and investors on both sides.
The Indian Railways has already completed the electrification of 4,087 route km in 2017-18. The complete electrification of the railways networks will probably be done by 2021-22.
