After Chandrayaan-2, it is back to business for the Indian Space Research Organization. On Wednesday, ISRO will launch Cartosat-3, and 13 other foreign satellites, aboard a PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle). This will be ISRO’s fifth launch this year and the first since the July 22 launch of the Chandrayaan-2 Moon mission.
In this regard, Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Railway Board Chiarman VK Yadav held talks with an EU delegation led by Mobility and Transport Commissioner Violeta Bluc.
A Green Channel Status is given to companies which pass the quality parameters in manufacturing, auditing of its facilities laid out by the government. Green Channel Policy was introduced in March 2017 by the Ministry of Defence as part of ‘Make in India’ initiative which allows manufactures to self-certify their supplies to the defence services.
After years of negotiations, India had pulled out of the China-backed mega Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) over unresolved “core concerns”, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying in Bangkok that the proposed deal would have adverse impact on the lives and livelihoods of all Indians.

Pickles are mentioned in various texts from ancient and medieval India, as well as in the accounts of travellers to the region. According to historian Jyotsna K Kamat’s Social Life in Medieval Karnataka (1980), the 14th century Kannada treatise, Nala Champu, mentions “pickles of green and raw bilva (bellavatta) or bel, ambate, chellakai, green mango, green pepper, raw ginger, raw cardamom and myrobalan were in vogue,” addding that, “Ibn Batuta, who had observed the popularity of pickles throughout India, explains the method of its preservation.”
The summit was attended by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar who also held several bilateral and multilateral meetings on its margins, including meeting with the Foreign Ministers of Republic of Korea, Netherlands and Singapore.
“The ISA draft is all done and ready. We are waiting for a formal occasion to sign it,” one defence official said. The ISA is part of the General Security of Military Information Agreement (GSOMIA), which India had signed with the U.S. many years ago. The ISA is crucial for U.S. companies bidding for big-ticket Indian deals to partner Indian private companies.
