Wind Power Projects of 12,162.50 MW Capacity awarded so far

Juniper Green Energy Commissions 65.40 MW Wind Power Capacity, Expands Operational Portfolio to 2,811 MWp

New Wind Capacity Commissioned Under 200 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy Project as Company Strengthens Renewable Power Generation and Battery Storage Infrastructure

Juniper Green Energy Limited has commissioned an additional 65.40 MW of wind power capacity through its wholly owned subsidiary, Juniper Green Stellar Private Limited, marking another milestone in the company’s expanding renewable energy portfolio.

The company announced the development on October 16, 2026, through a regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The newly commissioned capacity forms part of a 200 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project, which combines renewable electricity generation with battery energy storage to support more reliable power supply.

Following the commissioning, Juniper Green Energy and its subsidiaries have increased their aggregate operational renewable energy capacity to approximately 2,811 MWp, alongside 603 MWh of battery energy storage capacity.

Juniper Green Stellar Commissions Additional Wind Power Capacity

According to the company’s official stock exchange disclosure, Juniper Green Stellar Private Limited successfully commissioned 65.40 MW of additional wind generation capacity on October 16, 2026.

The commissioning represents further progress in the subsidiary’s 200 MW FDRE project, which integrates renewable generation assets with battery storage infrastructure.

With the latest addition, the project’s commissioned generation capacity has reached 434.35 MWp, supported by approximately 201 MWh of battery energy storage.

The project’s total planned generation capacity stands at 550.6 MWp, together with approximately 201 MWh of battery storage.

This combination of renewable generation and energy storage infrastructure forms part of Juniper Green Energy’s strategy to expand dependable clean electricity supply.

FDRE Projects Strengthen Renewable Energy Reliability

Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy projects represent an important development in India’s transition towards cleaner and more reliable electricity generation.

Unlike conventional renewable installations that depend entirely on prevailing sunlight or wind conditions, FDRE projects incorporate complementary generation and storage technologies to improve electricity availability.

Wind and solar power generation can vary throughout the day because of changing weather conditions. Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) allow electricity generated during periods of availability to be stored and supplied when required.

This approach helps renewable power developers meet scheduled electricity delivery requirements and supports improved integration of renewable energy into the power grid.

Juniper Green Stellar’s project incorporates approximately 201 MWh of battery storage alongside its renewable generation infrastructure, contributing to the development of more flexible renewable power systems.

Juniper Green Energy’s Operational Portfolio Reaches 2,811 MWp

Following the latest commissioning, Juniper Green Energy’s combined operational portfolio has increased to approximately 2,811 MWp of renewable generation capacity and 603 MWh of battery storage.

The company develops, constructs, operates and maintains renewable energy projects across India, with a portfolio covering solar power, wind energy, wind-solar hybrid installations and firm and dispatchable renewable energy systems.

According to its corporate information updated on October 16, 2026, Juniper Green Energy has a total renewable energy development portfolio of approximately 11,218 MWp across 52 projects in four Indian states.

The portfolio includes operational assets, contracted projects under construction and awarded projects at various stages of development.

The company’s expanding renewable energy infrastructure reflects its continued investment in electricity generation and advanced energy storage technologies.

Juniper Green Energy Expands Wind, Solar and Battery Storage Portfolio

Juniper Green Energy operates an integrated renewable energy business covering project development, engineering, procurement, construction, operations and maintenance.

The company’s portfolio includes standalone wind and solar projects, wind-solar hybrid installations and renewable energy systems supported by battery storage.

As of October 16, 2026, the company reported approximately 3,327 MWp of contracted generation capacity under construction, together with 3,585 MWh of associated battery storage capacity.

Its awarded development portfolio comprised another 5,079 MWp of planned generation capacity and 4,900 MWh of battery storage.

Combining operational, contracted and awarded projects, the company reported a total portfolio of approximately 11,218 MWp of generation capacity and 8,989 MWh of associated battery storage.

These figures reflect Juniper Green Energy’s expansion across renewable generation and energy storage, two increasingly interconnected components of India’s electricity infrastructure.

Battery Storage Supports India’s Clean Energy Transition

The integration of battery storage with renewable electricity generation is becoming increasingly important as India expands solar and wind capacity.

Battery systems can store electricity during periods of surplus renewable generation and release it when demand increases or renewable production declines.

This capability helps address the variability of wind and solar power while improving the ability of renewable energy projects to supply electricity according to scheduled requirements.

Projects such as Juniper Green Stellar’s FDRE installation illustrate the growing importance of combining renewable power generation with energy storage infrastructure.

The approach also contributes to the development of a more flexible electricity system capable of accommodating increasing renewable energy penetration.

Juniper Green Energy Strengthens India’s Renewable Power Infrastructure

The commissioning of 65.40 MW of additional wind capacity represents another step in Juniper Green Energy’s renewable energy expansion programme.

With its operational portfolio reaching approximately 2,811 MWp and 603 MWh of battery storage, the company continues to strengthen its position in India’s renewable power industry.

The development of integrated wind, solar and battery storage projects supports the country’s efforts to expand domestic clean electricity generation while improving power supply reliability.

As Juniper Green Energy advances its contracted and awarded projects, its growing renewable energy portfolio will contribute to India’s expanding clean energy infrastructure and long-term energy transition.
