India and Philippines Commence Negotiations on Investment Treaty

India and the Philippines have commenced negotiations on a new bilateral investment treaty even as there has been a recent upswing in economic engagement that both sides are keen to accelerate. The first round of talks on a new treaty took place last week in a virtual meeting between the Department of Economic Affairs and the Philippines department of trade and industry.

Jammu & Kashmir Grievance System has been Integrated with the Central Grievance Portal

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh informed here today that the Jammu & Kashmir grievance system has been integrated with the Central Grievance Portal, thus making it the first Union Territory of India to have its district level grievance offices integrated with Central Government Portal of CPGRAMS (Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System).

Cabinet Approves MoU Between ICAI, India and CPA, Papua New Guinea

Cabinet Approves Mutual Recognition Agreement Between ICAI, India and MICPA, Malaysia

The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has approved the Mutual Recognition Agreement between the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India (ICAI) and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) to enable appropriately qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) members of either Institute to join the other Institute by receiving appropriate credit for their existing accountancy qualification.
