Shri Amit Shah Inaugurated ‘Single Window Clearance System Web Portal’ in Coal Mining Sector

The Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah inaugurated the ‘Single Window Clearance System Web Portal’ in the Coal Mining sector in New Delhi on Monday. Shri Amit Shah also handed over the Charter of letters to successful bidders of the country’s first Commercial Coal Mining Auction.Union Minister of Coal & Mining and Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Pralhad Joshi and senior officers were also present in the programme.

The North East Venture Fund (NEVF), which is the first and the only dedicated Venture Fund for the North Eastern Region and was introduced by the Modi government, is gaining popularity among Start-Ups and young entrepreneurs. The Venture Fund Scheme launched by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) intended to promote growth of business ventures and skill development in the region.

Speaking at the event Shri Javadekar said that what other countries could not achieve, India has achieved and today has a thriving biodiversity. “70% of the global tiger population, 70% of asiatic lions and more than 60% of leopards population in India is a certificate of India’s thriving biodiversity ,as these big cats sit at the top of food chain and their growing numbers shows the well being of the whole ecosystem.”, said the Environment Minister.

Now Indians Abroad can Renew International Driving Permit Online

The applicants will be required to pay Rs 2,000 as fee for this renewal of IPD. They need to submit the proof of valid driving licence, three copies of passport photographs, valid proof of nationality and proof of valid passport. They will also need to give the address at which the renewed IDP can be delivered where the person is staying.

Government Approves Central Sector Scheme for Industrial Development of Jammu & Kashmir

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi in its meeting yesterday considered and approved the proposal of Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade for Central Sector Scheme for Industrial Development of Jammu & Kashmir. The scheme is approved with a total outlay of Rs. 28,400 crore (US$ 3.88 billion) upto the year 2037.
