Soon, A 24/7 Digital Window to File Cases from Anywhere

Limiting the role of registry in prioritising cases, the phase-III of the e-Courts project, currently in draft stage, has proposed a 24/7 digital window to litigants and lawyers to file cases from anywhere, anytime with provision of scheduling digital hearings in an open court, ensuring compliance of timelines by both judges and litigants.

Indian Standards are Now Available Free of Cost

He informed that BIS have nearly 21000 Indian Standards. The objective is to ensure genius standard for every product relevant for the national economy and consumers. He said for the benefit of industry, particularly the MSME sector, Indian Standards are now available free of cost, and can be downloaded from the Standardization Portal of e-BIS.

Shri Piyush Goyal Inaugurates e-SANTA, A Platform to Connect Aqua Farmers and the Buyers

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal today virtually inaugurated e-SANTA, an electronic marketplace providing a platform to connect aqua farmers and the buyers. It will enable the farmers to get a better price and the exporters to directly purchase quality products from the farmers enhancing traceability, a key factor in international trade. The term e-SANTA was coined for the web portal, meaning Electronic Solution for Augmenting NaCSA farmers’ Trade in Aquaculture. National Centre for Sustainable Aquaculture (NaCSA) is an extension arm of Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Govt. of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

Launch of India Energy Dashboards (Version 2.0) by NITI Aayog

The India Energy Dashboards Version 2.0 was launched by Dr Rajiv Kumar (Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog), Dr V K Saraswat (Member, NITI Aayog), Shri Amitabh Kant (CEO, NITI Aayog) and Dr Rakesh Sarwal (Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog). In the FY 20-21, a total allocation of Rs. 19,269 crore (US$ 2.63 billion) was made available as budgetary support, in addition, extra-budgetary support of Rs. 20,000 crore (US$ 2.73 billion) has been provided, the overall release of Rs. 39,269 crore (US$ 5.36 billion) is so far the highest in any year since the launch of PMAY-G. The expenditure incurred by states including state share has also seen an unprecedented increase in the current FY amounting to Rs. 46,661 crore (US$ 6.37 billion), which is the highest since the launch of the scheme.
