Kardi Ai Brings AI-Powered Long-Term ECG Monitoring Technology to India

Kardi Ai is designed to extend that monitoring window. Its system uses a chest-worn ECG sensor connected to a smartphone application, allowing heart rhythm data to be collected over a longer period while the user continues normal daily activities.

Czech healthtech company Kardi Ai is bringing its AI-powered long-term ECG monitoring technology to the Indian market, with the formal India launch scheduled in Hyderabad on 26 September 2026. The system combines a wearable ECG chest strap, smartphone connectivity and artificial intelligence-assisted analysis to support longer-duration monitoring of heart rhythm abnormalities.

The India launch is being facilitated by Eurasia Medical Technologies LLP in Hyderabad. The technology is positioned as a prescription-grade cardiac monitoring system intended to help physicians detect intermittent rhythm disturbances that may not appear during a brief ECG or even during a conventional 24-hour Holter recording.

Kardi Ai Extends Cardiac Monitoring Beyond a Short ECG Snapshot

A standard ECG provides valuable information about the heart’s electrical activity, but it records only a limited period. Some arrhythmias occur intermittently and may not be present during the short window in which an ECG is performed.

Kardi Ai is designed to extend that monitoring window. Its system uses a chest-worn ECG sensor connected to a smartphone application, allowing heart rhythm data to be collected over a longer period while the user continues normal daily activities.

The company says the longer monitoring period can give physicians access to a broader record of cardiac activity and improve the chances of identifying abnormalities that appear only occasionally.

Wearable ECG Sensor Connects Directly With the Smartphone App

The Kardi Ai system combines a wearable chest strap with a Polar H10 ECG sensor and a mobile application available for Android and iOS devices.

The sensor transmits heart-rhythm data to the smartphone through Bluetooth. The application then records and processes the ECG information before sending it to Kardi Ai’s cloud-based analysis platform.

Users can monitor their heart rhythm through the application, while the system also creates longer-term records that can be shared with a cardiologist.

The company’s patient documentation says the chest strap is designed to be worn during ordinary daily activities, allowing ECG recordings to be collected outside a hospital or diagnostic laboratory.

Artificial Intelligence Analyses ECG Recordings

Artificial intelligence forms the analytical layer of the Kardi Ai system.

The platform evaluates ECG recordings for potential rhythm irregularities and can generate reports that doctors can review. This allows the system to act as a supporting diagnostic tool rather than simply functioning as a consumer heart-rate monitor.

The company describes the technology as capable of supporting the detection of multiple types of arrhythmia, including rhythm abnormalities that may appear unpredictably and therefore escape conventional short-duration testing.

Importantly, Kardi Ai is designed to assist medical professionals rather than replace clinical diagnosis. Final interpretation and treatment decisions remain with the physician.

Doctors Can Review Long-Term Heart Rhythm Data

A key element of the platform is the ability to connect patients and cardiologists through the same monitoring ecosystem.

ECG recordings collected through the wearable can be made available to doctors, giving them access to a longer record of the patient’s heart rhythm rather than relying only on an isolated test performed during a hospital visit.

This approach can be particularly useful when symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness or irregular heartbeat occur sporadically.

The platform can also generate periodic reports, allowing physicians to examine patterns that develop over time.

India Launch Targets Remote and Continuous Cardiac Monitoring

The Hyderabad launch is being positioned around the growing role of remote cardiac monitoring and AI-assisted ECG analysis in India.

Kardi Ai’s India representatives announced the launch during a press conference at the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The launch programme is expected to bring together cardiologists, electrophysiologists, physicians, hospital administrators and healthcare technology professionals.

Clinical sessions are planned around arrhythmia detection, the role of long-term ECG monitoring and the application of artificial intelligence in cardiac care.

The launch theme, “From signal to insight for healthier lives,” reflects the company’s focus on converting continuous heart-rhythm data into information that can be used by clinicians.

Kardi Ai Has Secured Regulatory Clearance for the Indian Market

According to company representatives, Kardi Ai has secured an MD-15 licence in India, allowing the medical device to be imported and sold in the country.

The system is also classified as an EU MDR Class IIa medical device, giving it an established regulatory footing in the European market.

These approvals are important because Kardi Ai is being introduced as a medical monitoring system rather than as a general fitness wearable.

Its positioning places the device within the growing category of regulated digital-health tools that combine wearable sensors, cloud platforms and artificial intelligence.

Subscription Model Expected for Indian Users

Company representatives have indicated that the Kardi Ai system will be offered in India through a subscription-based model.

The annual package has been reported at around ₹40,000, although final commercial pricing and distribution arrangements may vary as the India rollout develops.

The service model combines the ECG chest strap, mobile application, data analysis and access to longer-term monitoring features rather than selling the sensor as a standalone consumer device.

AI and Wearables Are Changing Cardiac Diagnostics

The arrival of Kardi Ai in India reflects a wider shift in medical technology toward continuous monitoring rather than occasional measurement.

Wearable ECG systems can collect large amounts of physiological data outside hospitals, while artificial intelligence can help clinicians identify patterns within those recordings more efficiently.

The practical advantage is not simply that more data are collected. The more important change is that doctors can examine heart rhythm over a longer period and evaluate abnormalities in the context of everyday life.

This can be valuable for rhythm disorders that do not occur continuously and may therefore remain undetected during conventional testing.

Hyderabad Becomes Entry Point for Kardi Ai’s India Expansion

Kardi Ai’s formal entry through Hyderabad gives the Czech company access to one of India’s major healthcare and technology centres.

The India launch also represents a significant step in the company’s international expansion. Kardi Ai has described India as an important market because of its scale and the growing demand for technologies that support earlier detection, remote monitoring and digitally connected healthcare.

The company’s expansion comes as India continues to adopt AI-enabled diagnostics, connected medical devices and remote patient-monitoring systems across hospitals and specialist healthcare networks.

For cardiology, technologies such as Kardi Ai could add another layer between the traditional ECG performed during a consultation and hospital-based long-duration monitoring.

The system’s clinical value will ultimately depend on how effectively physicians integrate continuous ECG data into diagnosis and patient management. Its India launch nevertheless adds another regulated AI-powered cardiac monitoring platform to the country’s expanding digital-health ecosystem.
