Last week in the market valuation, eight of the top-10 most valued firms collaboratively added Rs. 1,39,566.52 crore (US$ 19.28 billion). Top performers were Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys.
The BSE benchmark Sensex gained 882.40 points or 1.74%, on a weekly basis.
Reliance Industries witnessed market valuation increasing by Rs. 59,590.77 crore (US$ 8.23 billion) to Rs. 13,28,049.94 crore (US$ 183.49 billion).
TCS added Rs. 23,562.96 crore (US$ 3.26 billion), taking the company’s valuation to Rs. 11,63,018.74 crore (US$ 160.69 billion) and Infosys earned Rs. 21,395.27 crore (US$ 2.96 billion) to Rs. 5,98,604.10 crore (US$ 82.71 billion).
The market capitalisation of SBI gathered Rs. 18,697.06 crore (US$ 2.58 billion) to Rs. 3,76,663.23 crore (US$ 52.04 billion) and Kotak Mahindra Bank earned Rs. 8,435.06 crore (US$ 1.17 billion) to Rs. 3,56,849.67 crore (US$ 49.30 billion).
HDFC’s valuation increased by Rs. 4,555.41 crore (US$ 0.63 billion) to reach Rs. 4,58,418.62 crore (US$ 4584.1862 billion) and HDFC Bank increased by Rs. 2,721.71 crore (US$ 376.05 million) to Rs. 8,28,341.24 crore (US$ 114.45 billion).
ICICI Bank added Rs. 608.28 crore (US$ 84.04 million), taking its capitalisation to Rs. 4,45,171.34 crore (US4 61.51 billion).
The market capitalisation of Bajaj Finance stood at Rs. 3,38,589.27 crore (US$ 46.78 billion).
The most valued firm was Reliance Industries followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever, HDFC, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Bajaj Finance.
