While speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum, the Prime Minister made a landmark announcement. The Prime Minister announced that India would be giving 1 billion dollar worth ‘Line of Credit’ for the development of the Far East.
According to a joint statement, the two countries expressed their commitment to upgrading their defence cooperation, including by fostering joint development and production of military equipment, components and spare parts, improve the after-sales service system.

With an aim to intensify defence and security ties with Seoul, Rajnath Singh will be engaging in a bilateral dialogue with his counterpart Jeong Kyeong-Doo, the Minister of National Defence, and also call on the Prime Minister Lee Nak-Yon.
