The Hunt Begins: New Top 10 Pakistani Terrorists in Kashmir

Indian security forces have launched fresh operations to neutralize the next wave of Top 10 most wanted terrorist currently active in Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. According to top sources in the security establishment, these terrorists are linked to Pakistan-based terror outfits Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM).

Four Rafales to Arrive in India by July-End

“The first four aircraft including three twin-seater trainer aircraft and one single-seater fighter aircraft would start arriving by the end of July at the Ambala airbase. The trainers will have the tail numbers of the RB series in honour of the Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria who played a pivotal role in finalising India’s largest-ever defence deal for 36 Rafale combat aircraft,” defence sources told ANI here.

Raksha Mantri Commissions Indian Coast Guard Ship ‘Sachet’ and 2 Interceptors

Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh commissioned Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) Sachet and two interceptor boats (IBs) C-450 and C-451 in Goa via video conference from here today. The ICGS Sachet, the first in the series of five offshore patrol vessels (OPVs) has been designed & built indigenously by Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) and is fitted with state-of-the-art navigation and communication equipment.

Focus on Make in India in Defence: Projects Under Make II Category will go to MSMEs

To push the Make in India initiative in the defence sector and lend a helping hand to the private sector and MSMEs, the Ministry of Defence (MoD)has started identifying projects that can be handed over to them. Sources have confirmed to Financial Express Online that “The MoD has started the process of identifying protects which can be fast-tracked and produced locally in India. This will not only help save the funds but will also help our MSMEs and the private sector.”

When asked if he was looking to cut manpower costs as mounting salaries and pensions were taking away a large chunk of the budget, General Rawat said: “I am looking at manpower costs. Why should a jawan serve for just 15 or 17 years, why cannot he serve for 30 years? We are losing trained manpower.”

Made in India Weaponized UAV for Warfare

Where most companies are focused on making UAVs with cameras for surveillance, this Made in India UAV called Vero is remotely piloted, equipped with two 38mm grenades that are capable of being remotely fired mid-air. The UAV has two cameras that allow for the operator to conduct surveillance and locate the target. It can function in below zero degree to positive forty degrees. The UAV is designed to be used in extreme and high-altitude conditions.

India ‘Test-Beds’ Integrated Battle Groups for China, Pakistan Border-Army Chief

Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane on Sunday (May 10, 2020) informed that his force plans to introduce the Integrated Battle Groups (IBG) along the borders with China and Pakistan for swift strikes in case of a war situation. Speaking to news agency PTI, the General stated that a “test-bedding” for the same had been completed but the rollout has been delayed for the foreseeable future due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
