Autoliv To Set Up New Airbag Inflator Plant In India

Autoliv, Inc, announced its plan to build a new airbag inflator manufacturing plant in India, focused toward supporting its strong Indian market position. Autoliv India has its corporate office, Engineering Centre, and Airbag facilities in Bangalore. The new inflator plant will be built close to Chennai and will serve the Indian demand.

Bengaluru Airport Launches India’s First Dedicated Express Cargo Terminal, to Help E-Commerce

The Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), Bengaluru on Friday announced the launch of the country’s first dedicated express cargo terminal, which would help the private airport operator to handle over 25 per cent more cargo annually. The express cargo market for business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) sectors has tremendous potential to grow over the next decade, reported PTI.

Trishul Military Airbase, Bareilly belongs to the Indian Air Force and the land was handed over to the Airport Authority of India for construction of the interim civil aviation operations. The Government of India sanctioned Rs. 88 crores under the UDAN scheme for the development of the interim civil aviation operations. The upgradation was undertaken by the AAI with a cost of Rs. 65 crores.

BRO Restores Connectivity to 13 Border Billages of Uttarakhand’s Chamoli District : Flash Flood

A 200-feet Bailey Bridge, built by Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in Reini Village on Joshimat – Malari road across the Rishiganga River was thrown open for public on March 03, 2021. With this, BRO has restored connectivity, in a record time of 26 days, to the 13 border villages of Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district that were cut off due flash floods on February 07, 2021.
