Bengaluru: Amidst the gloomy days in lockdown, there is some positive news in connection with airports. The Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru has been named the Best Regional Airport in India & Central Asia for the third time now.

Customers chose KIA over other regional airports

For the third time now in four years, the customers have voted in favour of KIA as their favourite regional airport across India & Central Asia at the World Airport Awards 2020.

What is this world airport awards?

The World Airport Awards are accolades given to airports across the globe through a voting system done through an annual consumer survey.

Assessment of over 550 airports is done to reach the results.

Customers from around 100 countries grade the airports based on various performance indicators such as check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security, immigration & departures
