Tesla Power USA Inc., the Indian subsidiary of Tesla Power USA LLC., based in Florida, USA., has introduced its proprietary American technology-led, highly efficient lead-acid batteries to the market. The company also provides innovative solutions to corporate and bulk battery users in India. The company’s unique proposition for the maintenance and revival of all types of lead-acid batteries, using its proprietary Electrochemical Battery Enhancement Process (EBEP), not only saves huge costs but also saves the environment from hazardous pollution.

According to Kavinder Khurana, Managing Partner of Tesla Power USA Inc., it is a win-win proposition for all – PSUs, corporate bulk battery users, industries, the environment, and the Indian youth. Tesla Power USA is offering a comprehensive AMC under which a team of highly qualified and trained engineers maintain the batteries – of any brand, any age, any make, or any application – quarterly. During this contract period, faulty batteries will be repaired or replaced free of cost by Tesla Power USA Inc doubling battery life and reducing costs by 50%. The cost of such a comprehensive AMC is only 15% of the cost of a new battery. This will reduce the cost of owning and maintaining a battery to less than half, considering that the average life of any battery is three years.

Organizations that have budgeted for the purchase of new batteries will be able to save substantial amounts of money by availing of these services. Saving the environment – Batteries are heavy, toxic, electrically fragile, and degenerate, becoming inefficient with usage. As per a report from the Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi, nearly 80% of lead-acid batteries fail prematurely due to the sulphation of lead plates. These batteries that are usually discarded and replaced, become a threat to the environment. Battery sales in India are around ₹70, 000 crores per year, and demand in the energy storage space is growing at the rate of 9% CAGR.
