Skoda Auto India Inaugurates Its Largest Workshop in Tamil Nadu

New Delhi: Skoda Auto India unveils its largest workshop facility in the country with 49,585 sq ft(4,607 sq m) service area in association with SGA Cars India, at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, the company said in a media release.

It is equipped with 50 bays, and a capacity to serve 20,000 vehicles, as the company claimed.

Under the project, the Czech maker will increase the accessibility of the brand by doubling its dealer network across fifty new cities, over the next three years.

The dimensions of the new facility are a reflection of the region potential for the brand. With the inauguration of its modern workshop facility in Coimbatore, the company aims to further strengthen its position in Tamil Nadu, and push forward its campaign of establishing a strong foothold in the southern markets of our nation.

It consist of more than 40 dedicated aftersales personnel. It also houses rainwater harvesting capabilities, thereby contributing to the Green Future vision of Skoda Auto.

The company previously introduced ‘EasyBuy’, an assured introductory 57 per cent buyback value program across the SUPERB model range, at the end of the three year contractual term.

It also launched the ŠKODA Shield Plus, a segment first initiative, to ensure six years of hassle-free ownership experience. It offers motor insurance, 24 x 7 Road Side Assistance, and an extended warranty, and is available across the portfolio: Rapid, Octavia, Superb, and Kodiaq.
