Namami Gange Programme’, is an Integrated Conservation Mission, approved as ‘Flagship Programme’ by the Union Government in June 2014 with budget outlay of Rs.20,000 Crore to accomplish the twin objectives of effective abatement of pollution, conservation and rejuvenation of National River Ganga.

“Rag Rag Mein Ganga” is a travelogue of 21 episodes being produced by Doordarshan for National Mission for Clean Ganga . The Travelogue features celebrity film & TV actor Rajeev Khandelwal as celebrity anchor. The show which rolled out on 2nd Feb, 2019 on weekends on DD-National has already created a buzz among the audience. The strength of the programme is its tittle, concept , direction and the star anchor. The show is creating lot of curiosity among the youth and making them glue on to TV sets for sheer grandeur and beauty of Ganga which can not be seen effectively on mobile and computer screens.
