Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Wednesday that over 2 crore COVID vaccination shots have been delivered to children aged 15 to 18.
“Now the youth is coming forward to make the world’s largest vaccine drive a success. We have already vaccinated 2 crore children between 15-18 years of age,” PM Modi made the remarks through video conference after inaugurating the MSME Ministry’s Technology Centre and Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Manimandapam in Puducherry.
According to a statement released by the Union Health Ministry, up to 2,82,74,847 doses of COVID-19 vaccine had been delivered to beneficiaries aged 15 to 18 years old since January 3.

According to the Prime Minister, “We have had many such fighters in the freedom struggle, whose contribution did not get the recognition that they deserved. The more our youth write, research about such dignitaries, the more awareness will increase in the coming generations of the country.” He also encouraged the youth to speak up and contribute to the battle for cleanliness.
