According to provisional statistics, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has surpassed 167.29 Cr (1.67 billion) in the previous 24 hours, with more than 57 lakh (57,42,659) vaccine doses administered. This was accomplished by a total of 1,83,99,537 sessions.
The cumulative vaccine doses coverage for 2nd Dose for HCWs stood at 98,79,519, for FLWs at 1,72,64,513, Age group 15-18 years at 11,28,099, Age group 18-44 years at 40,84,76,861, Age group 45-59 years at 17,22,41,222 and over 60 years at 10,73,23,731.
India’s recovery rate stood at 94.91% as 2,81,109 patients recovered in the previous 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients so far is at 3,95,11,307. Furthermore, 1,61,386 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
India’s active cases totaled 3.9% of the country’s positive cases with the present active caseload being at 16,21,603.
Weekly and daily positivity rate stood at 14.15% and 9.26% respectively.
