India’s Bullet Train Project Catches up Speed; Bids Invited for Stations, Viaduct

India’s bullet train project has caught up speed. The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited on Thursday invited bids for design and construction of about 18 km of viaduct between Anand and Sabarmati including HSR stations at Ahmedabad and Sabarmati for Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail corridor. The alignment also has 31 crossing bridges including 6 (six) Steel truss bridges.

India’s Longest Expressway to be Ready by May 2022

India’s longest expressway that would connect the financial capital of Mumbai to Nagpur will be fully operational by May 1, 2022. Though there was some delay because of Covid-19-forced lockdowns, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Ltd (MSRDC) is racing against time to make it operational in three phases.

$60 Billion Investment Being Made in the Gas Infrastructure: Shri Pradhan

Expanding the reach of environment friendly Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in various areas, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel Shri Dharmendra Pradhan today dedicated 42 CNG stations and 3 City Gate Stations of Torrent Gas to the service of the community. All CNG stations and City Gate Stations were connected through video conference during the event with the Minister.
