India’s bullet train project has caught up speed. The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited on Thursday invited bids for design and construction of about 18 km of viaduct between Anand and Sabarmati including HSR stations at Ahmedabad and Sabarmati for Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail corridor. The alignment also has 31 crossing bridges including 6 (six) Steel truss bridges.
In order to increase the production of black cumin, the Jammu and Kashmir government has set up a research centre for its cultivation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pampore district.

A total of 322 projects in a length of 12,413 Km have been awarded under Bharatmala Pariyojana till August, 2020. Further, 2921 Km has been constructed under the Project till the same date.

Expanding the reach of environment friendly Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in various areas, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel Shri Dharmendra Pradhan today dedicated 42 CNG stations and 3 City Gate Stations of Torrent Gas to the service of the community. All CNG stations and City Gate Stations were connected through video conference during the event with the Minister.
This ambitious railway line project is expected to be completed by 15 August 2022, providing an alternate surface link between the Kashmir Valley and the rest of India.
