The Government approved 708 proposals for construction of 3.61 lakh houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban (PMAY-U) on 8th June 2021. Government of India will buy 75% of the total production of the vaccine producers and provide to the states free of cost. No state government would be spending anything for vaccines.
