Union Civil Aviation Minister Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia Releases Krishi UDAN 2.0

Mr. Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Union Minister of Civil Aviation said, “Krishi UDAN 2.0 is an example of this government’s collaborative approach towards policy making. This scheme will open up new avenues of growth for the agriculture sector andhelp attain the goal of doubling farmers’ income by removing barriers in supply chain, logistics and transportation of farm produce.”

Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Union Minister of Civil Aviation said, “Shillong is one of the highest & wettest places in the world. PM Launches PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi launched PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission. He also inaugurated various development projects worth around Rs. 5,200 crore for Varanasi. Governor and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Union Ministers, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey, State Ministers and people’s representatives were among those present on the occasion.

Saving Endangered Animals from Extinction

Efforts to save this species from extinction include the protection of its only habitat and by breeding the animals in captivity. These are undertaken by the Pygmy Hog Conservation Program (PHCP), which is a collaborative project with the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, IUCN/SSC Wild Pig Specialist Group, and Forest Department, Government of Assam, as the key partners.

Central Govt to Amend Wildlife Protection Act

The amended Act will give powers to the Centre to declare areas which it deemed fit to declare them as conservation reserves. These powers were wrested with the states till now. It will also allow the states to constitute the standing committee of the State Board for Wildlife (SBWL) on the lines of the National Board for Wildlife (NBWL), which is the topmost body deciding project proposals affecting tiger reserves and sanctuaries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi To Inaugurate Kushinagar International Airport On 20th October 2021

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Kushinagar International Airport on 20thOctober 2021 in the presence of Smt. Anandiben Patel, Governor, Uttar Pradesh; Shri YogiAdityanath, Chief Minister, UP; and Shri JyotiradityaScindia, Union Minister for Civil Aviation among others.The International Airport will get operational this week to ease cumbersome travel of earlier times and facilitate the air travel requirements of International Buddhist pilgrims in India.The inaugural flight will land at the airport from Colombo, Sri Lanka carrying 125 dignitaries & Buddhist Monks, highlighting the convenience to Buddhists across the world to visit the MahaparinirvanaSthal of Lord Buddha.
