Indian, Kyrgyz Special Forces Begin Two-Week Exercise

Critical trials ahead for indigenous Advanced Light Helicopter

A crucial trial of the folding tail boom – the aft section of the chopper – is planned by next month to demonstrate that the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) can easily fit into hangars and heli-decks of frontline warships, people familiar with the development told ET. The first ALH with a modified tail section as per the navy’s specifications is ready and is expected to fly within a month as part of the developmental tests, they said.

Delivery of S-400 Missile Systems to Begin by November

In October 2018, India had signed a $5.43 billion deal with Russia for five S-400 regiments despite objections from the U.S., with deliveries scheduled to begin end 2021. “The deal is on track and deliveries are expected to begin by November this year,” the official said.
