Final User Trial of NAG Missile

Final user trial of 3rd generation Anti Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) NAG was carried out today on 22 Oct 2020 at 0645 hrs from Pokhran range. The missile was integrated with the actual warhead and a tank target was kept at designated range. This was launched from NAG Missile Carrier NAMICA. The missile hit the target accurately defeating the armour.

INS Vagir: Indian Navy to Get Fifth Scorpene-Class Submarine from Mazagon Dock in Six Months

Sanjeev Singhal, Director (Finance), Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, said: “In spite of the Covid-19 challenges, we are trying to keep the timelines of whatever we had planned earlier, including the delivery of the fifth submarine sometime by end of this year or early next year. India Successfully Test-Fires SANT Missile

India on Monday test-fired the Stand-off Anti-tank (SANT) missile off the coast of Odisha. The test was successful. The Defence Research and Development Organisation is developing the missile for the Indian Air Force and it will have both Lock-on After Launch and Lock-on Before Launch capabilities, sources said.

India Invites Australia to Join Malabar Drill

India on Monday formally invited Australia to take part in its trilateral Malabar naval exercise with the US and Japan this year amid the ongoing military confrontation with China in eastern Ladakh.
The decision to include Australia in the drills — the first time all members of the regional grouping known as the Quad will be engaged at a military level — comes as Beijing and New Delhi are caught up in their worst border tensions in four decades.
