The Kumbha Mela will commence with the ‘shahi snan’ on January 15 on Makar Sankranti, while Mahashivratri on March 4th will mark the last bathing day.

The city of Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh is all set to host the world’s largest religious congregation – the Kumbha Mela 2019. Pilgrims from across the world have begun to gather in Kumbh Nagri to plunge themselves in the waters of Triveni Sangam – the confluence of three rivers, Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati.
